Thank you for the informative article "The General House: still moving toward a decision." It is assuring to know that due care is being given to calculate if the sale of the present facility will indeed provide all the funds needed to relocate the three communities and services and still leave something for an endowment. With the next General Chapter just a bit more than two years off I wonder if it is prudent to move ahead on this and leave the new administration with a fait accompli that does not meet its needs, and may in fact not be "accompli" (incomplete). Many "vecchi Romani" can testify that things rarely move according to plan in the Eternal City! |
