The General house community including the scholasticate community has a long tradition of ‘Hello’s’ and ‘Goodbyes’. At this time of the year new faces are getting familiar with the oblate general house. Some will be here for 3 years others more and others maybe less.

Just before the European summer break many goodbyes were said and now like a wheel going round and round we say ‘Hello’ to new oblates. Inevitably, we shall soon say goodbye to the old faces and hello to the new ones. This indeed indicates the circle of life in the congregation.

Not so long ago the international scholasticate bid farewell to 9 scholastics including the superior Fr Roberto Sartor OMI. At the present moment the scholasticate welcomes 8 new scholastics: Karly and Golsky from Haiti, Rupok from Bangladesh, Antony from India, Sebastian from Germany, Lazarus and Gabriel from Zambia and Joel from Paruguay.
