Fr. Diego Saez, OMI
OMI Postulator General

I am pleased to present the proper calendar of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate for the new liturgical year 2020-2021.

In it, you will find useful information, especially about our liturgical celebrations and a reminder of some important events in the history of our Founder and the Congregation. You can also find the dates of the “dies natalis” or day of the birth into Heaven of our Venerable and Servants of God.

I encourage you to pray and celebrate Masses, asking God for the prompt beatification or canonization of our renowned Oblates, especially on the days designated for their special memory.

You will also notice that some dates are modified this year because they coincide with other celebrations of the general liturgical calendar or that they were directly suppressed this year (for example, the optional memorial of the Martyrs of Spain, which date falls on the First Sunday of Advent, 2021), as well as some other practical indications.

May the memory of our great Oblates and their celebration help us announce the Paschal mystery fulfilled in them and follow their examples (cf. Catechism of the Catholic Church n. 1173).
