In an atmosphere of silence and prayer, the discernment for the election of the Superior General, which includes a preliminary poll, continued today.
The morning began with the approval of the Capitulars who will be in charge of the scrutiny. They will be, as is the tradition, the youngest: Frs. Sydney BOATILE, Harry ABISHEGAM, Alberto RUIZ and Bro. Domingo CAÑO.
Then began the preparatory retreat for the election. Gregory AROKIASWAMY, led a meditation on the Chapter theme “Pilgrims of Hope in Communion”.
The election is scheduled for tomorrow morning. The entire Oblate Family is invited to invoke the Holy Spirit to enlighten the Capitulars at this important moment.
