Today’s morning was devoted to presenting and commenting on the corrections made by the groups to the Final Document and the Chapter Message. The drafting committee collected all the material and is working hard to finalize these documents.
In the afternoon, the Assembly studied the proposals on various topics: the place and duration of the next General Chapters, a greater focus on Initial Formation, increased protection of minors and vulnerable adults, animation on the Constitutions and Rules on the occasion of the bicentenary of their approval (2026), establishing an official network of Associations of lay people who share the Oblate charism, addressing financial challenges, promoting international meetings of young Oblates, responding to the appeals of Pope Francis in Laudato Si’ and Querida Amazonia.
