The second to the last day of the Chapter had a feeling that the end of this long journey was near. Even so, there were still some important tasks to be done. The Capitulars today put the finishing touches on the Final Document “Pilgrims of Hope in Communion” which was approved in the late afternoon.
The day also saw the approval of important recommendations and mandates on the centralization of first formation, the restructuring of the Congregation, and the establishment of an official network of lay people who share the Oblate charism, among other things.
