The theme for today’s morning prayer was, “Communion”. The prayer was led by the Province of Mexico and the Missions of Guatemala and Cuba.

The theme of the Morning Prayer was Hope and Restructuring. Delegates from the Province of Haiti and the Mission of Colombia led the prayers for the day.

Day 4 – Thursday, August 24
Today was a day of pilgrimage to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
The questions, addressed by the Superior General, Fr. Chicho to the young people, were the common thread of the days lived first in Pozuelo, as a Mediterranean Province, then in Lisbon as a global Oblate Family.
Joint Session Daily Report – Day 3:
The theme of the Morning Prayer today was “Pilgrims with the heart of Eugene.” The Brazil and Baja California delegates led the prayer.
The Oblate Delegation of Zambia is currently hosting a meeting of the Young Oblates of Mary Immaculate (Y.O.M.I) from the five anglophone countries of the subregion of Africa-Madagascar: Lesotho, Kenya, South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Zambia.
Joint Session Daily Report – Day 2 of the joint session of the Latin American Region and the Central Government began with Morning Prayer, in which we reflected on the theme of pilgrims.
The joint session of the Latin American region and the Central Government officially started today, August 21.
From August 21-29, 2023, the Province of Mexico will host the joint session of the General Government with the Oblate Superiors of Latin America and the Caribbean. This comes at an important time in the history of the Province, as the Oblates look back with gratitude on 80 years of continuous presence on Mexican soil.
Oblates in Pakistan participate in a peaceful protest against Christophobia after the recent events where Christians were violently attacked and their churches torched.
