Fr. Francis G. Morrisey, (OMI, Ph.D., JCD) is a Professor Emeritus of Canon Law Saint Paul University, Ottawa, Canada. He is an international lecturer and has been invited to speak in some 50 countries on matters relating to Canon Law. He was involved in the preparation of the Code of Canon Law that was commissioned by Vatican II and promulgated in 1983.

Here in this interview, he speaks from a canonical perspective, about some theological and pastoral matters that would be taken into discussion during the Panamazonian Synod at the Vatican in October 2019.
