Venerable Charles Dominique Albini
Missionary Oblate of Mary Immaculate Popular Preacher, Professor of Moral Theology “Apostle of Corsica”
1931
An Oblate brother from Hudson, New Hampshire, USA, was hospitalized several times between 1925 and 1931 in nearby Nashua with acute appendicitis and peritoneal abscesses. The patient survived all the difficult surgeries. The Oblates entrusted him from the very beginning to the intercession of the Servant of God Charles Dominique Albini.
1941
A man from Vico, Corsica, suffered from meningitis and double congestion pulmonary disease. He was in a coma for eight days. According to the doctor, there was no chance for survival. The mother of the man went to the tomb of Fr. Albini for prayer. The amelioration took place the next day.
1950
In Pescara, Italy, a lady attributes her healing from sever tuberculosis to the intercession of the Servant of God Charles Dominique Albini.
1951
In Aniello, Italy, a child suffered from algospasm. The sickness reached a terminal state on the night of August 13, 1951. A total healing came on suddenly during the same night. The parents attribute the healing to the intercession of the Servant of God Carlo Domenico Albini.
1952
An old Lady from Saint-Benjamin de Dorchester, Canada, gave thanks to God that she survived a major surgery through the intercession of the Servant of God Charles Dominique Albini.
1955
In Venice, a woman from England, who had heard for the first time of Fr. Albini during her visit in Italy, claimed to be healed from cancer because of the intercession of the Servant of God Carlo Domenico Albini. The amelioration began on the final day of the novena prayers.
1959
In Corsica, a woman asked for the intercession of the Servant of God Charles Dominique Albini for a period of two years. She prayed for the release of her son, prisoner of war in Morocco. The son was liberated February 19, 1959.
1960
A lady from Buenos Aires, Argentina, thanked God for her amelioration after a long and difficult hospital stay. She was convicted in the intercession of the Servant of God Charles Dominique Albini.
1960
The aunt of an 18 year old young lady attributed her cancer healing to the intercession of the Servant of God Charles Dominique Albini. The woman had surgery with the removal of her gall bladder and part of her liver. The presumed healing took place 14 days after surgery.
1965
A man from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, asked the intercession of the Servant of God Charles Dominique Albini for the conversion of a good friend who did not believe in God.
1967
A man from San Rafael in Mexico suffered from childhood from nervous attacks, due to a tumor under his arm. Mexican Oblates had made him familiar with the Servant of God Charles Dominique Albini. The man claimed that several difficult surgeries went so well because of the intercession of the Servant of God Charles Dominique Albini.
1969
A lady from Nice, France, attributes her healing from a painful eczema to the intercession of the Venerable Charles Dominique Albini.
1977
A woman from Mexico City, Mexico, thanked Fr. Albini for his intercession in her marriage problems.
1987
A man from Balogna, Corsica, had an accident. He fell two meters from a ladder. He lost consciousness and was hospitalized in Bastia. After the family brought a second class relic of Fr. Albini into the hospital to touch the sick man, he woke up from his coma and got better day by day.
1988
A man from Olivese, Corsica, suffered, from 1987, with a progressive Cardiomyopathy, the so called “heart muscle disease”, a growing inability of the heart muscle to contract, which consequently leads to heart failure. The man lost 23 kilograms of weight. In 1988, a heart transplant had to be performed. The man recovered well. His whole family prayed during his sickness and asked the intercession of Venerable Charles Dominique Albini.
1991
A couple from Paris, France, gave thanks to Fr. Albini. They are convinced that the birth of a healthy child can be attributed to the intercession of the Venerable Charles Dominique Albini. After suffering from cancer, the husband was given the advice to not have children. The child was given Dominique as a second name.
1994
An 18 year old woman from Vallauris, France, suffered after a car accident from a traumatic brain injury, also known as an intracranial injury. In addition to the damage caused by the accident, the brain trauma caused a secondary injury, with alterations in cerebral blood flow and pressure within the skull. The family of the lady attributes the perfect healing to the intercession of Venerable Charles Dominique Albini.
1998
A woman from Ajaccio, Corsica, attributes the healthy birth of her son to the intercession of Venerable Charles Dominique Albini. During pregnancy a deformation of the unborn child’s heart was diagnosed. After a difficult birth, no heart failure could be diagnosed.
2001
After an accident while riding a horse, a man from Corsica was hospitalized with a broken leg in Ajaccio and later in Marseille. During the standard examination, a blood test was done. To the surprise of the man, leukemia was diagnosed. As the man was a member of the Confraternity of Fr. Albini in Vico, he attributed his complete healing to the intercession of Venerable Charles Dominique Albini.
2004
A boy from Vico was suffering from heart failure. His situation was critical at the end of 2004. The family took part in the procession of August 15, 2004. They asked the intercession of Venerable Charles Dominique Albini. At the same time, the son felt a great heat in his chest. Further examinations in view of a possible operation showed that the deformation in the heart was gone.
