The Oblate Mission of Ghana has taken flight. Declared an official Oblate Mission on May 13, 2021, by the Superior General in Council, the First Oblates arrived in the village of Agbenoxoè, Ho, Ghana, on March 21, 2022.
GHANA: Every day it becomes easier for us to communicate in the local language, which often causes surprise and smiles from local people.
GHANA: We are getting established there, slowly but steadily.
GHANA: The new community consists of three Oblates from three nationalities (Nigeria, Poland, Senegal).
GHANA: The first Oblates who will form the apostolic community in the Mission of Ghana have been called to obedience by Father General

A little over two years ago, Bishop of the Diocese of Ho in Ghana, wrote to invite the Oblates of Mary Immaculate to open a mission in his diocese.
