The message of the Capitulars of the 37th General Chapter.
Pope Benedict has passed away. He will be remembered in numerous ways. What about his relationship with the Oblates?
The Superior General of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate, Fr. Luis Ignacio Rois Alonso, visited the Delegation of Ukraine from the 3rd to the 9th of December 2022.

Letter of the Superior General for the Celebration of the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of Mary
“Let us ask Mary to teach us to wholeheartedly welcome the grace of the last General Chapter. Let us walk with her, hand in hand, putting ourselves at the service of the other and living the joy of being prophets of communion and hope.”
“I will propose some possible tracks that help us to learn from Mary the pilgrim and Mother of hope and of communion.” – Fr. Superior General
“As we close the General Chapter, I feel that a new adventure begins for the entire Oblate family: the adventure of living our beloved as pilgrims of hope in communion.”
In the two weeks following the Chapter, the new and the former OMI Central Government communities spent a quality time together, as the Congregation’s leadership changed hands.

The session ended with a “surprise video” prepared by the Oblate Communications Service thanking the outgoing General Administration for its work and dedication over the past 6 years.

Nemi, Italy: At 8:30 p.m. the rite of installation of the new Superior General took place in the main chapel.
