Plenary Session, Closing Celebration
The Eucharistic celebration, marking the conclusion of the 5-week-long Plenary Session, was presided by Fr. Chicho, the Superior General. Brother Noel, Secretary General, delivered a touching reflection inspired by the Gospel story of the miraculous healing of a man with hearing and speech impediments. His message centered on “the three invitations: To focus, to listen, and to ponder!”
The Newness of God
The Gospel is that “new” that we must embrace, welcome, and make room for, whatever the cost, so that we may be a proclamation of the newness of God among the poorest: “Behold, I make all things new” (Revelation 21:5).
