Why doesn’t humanity’s story, despite its dark chapters, fade into oblivion? Despite past and present wars, unyielding violence, and the pervasive injustices plaguing societies, why do visions of peaceful coexistence and solidarity endure? And why, despite ecological disasters caused by nature’s exploitation, do we pursue a greener future for our planet?
The World Needs Healing!
Christ went through the pain to attain our healing and redemption. Amid this Lent in 2024, there is so much needless pain in the world. As pilgrims of hope in the world, we cannot be oblivious to the plight of so many who experiencing pain: victims of man-made conflicts in Gaza, DR Congo, Ukraine, Haiti, Myanmar, Nigeria, etc. The world needs healing! Wars are causing so much pain. Let us all bring this suffering of the redeemed, to the ‘wounded healer’.
