Our OBLATION

“The key to our happiness and our perseverance lies in doing everything to make others happy in their vocation and mission. C.29 says it well, speaking of our fourth Vow, Perseverance:

“We will help each other find joy and fullness in community life and in our apostolate, supporting one another in our resolution to be faithful to the Congregation…”.

We live in community to help each other grow in holiness and to find joy and fullness in our life and mission. And this happens by putting ourselves at the service of one another. Before asking ourselves what we can obtain from others, from the community, from the Congregation, let us first ask ourselves, ‘how we can serve others in the most evangelical way possible.’ Let us do as Jesus did, who first put himself at our service, becoming poor to enrich us.” (Chicho Rois, Homily, OBLATION 1/5/2023)
