Diaconate Ordination of Rev. Jerémié Makama Kafaka, OMI and Rev. Lawrence Gerald De Guzman, OMI
|| During this Easter season, we rejoice not only for the Risen Christ but also for His precious gift to the Church. On April 9th, the OLAS community warmly welcomed numerous guests from various vocations and religious congregations to witness the ordination to the Sacred Order of the diaconate of our two Oblate Brothers.
Rev. Jerémié is currently completing his theology studies at the Pontifical and Royal University of Santo Tomas (UST) and will be returning to his home country, Congo, this coming June.
Rev. Lawrence graduated with a theology degree from the Maryhill School of Theology (MST) in 2023. He is presently serving in Kulaman, Sultan Kudarat, dedicated to the Indigenous People’s Ministry of the congregation.
We continue to hold our dear Reverends in our prayers as they fulfill their diaconate callings and prepare for the priesthood.
