VIVAT International, a Non-Governmental Organization with more than 17,000 members from 12 Catholic congregations, operates in 121 countries to advance human rights through advocacy at international and local levels. The organization holds Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC) and is associated with the United Nations Department of Global Communications (DGC).
Fr. Luis Ignacio Rois Alonso, Superior General of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate, serves as a board member of VIVAT International.
