Alphonse RAKOTONDRAVELO, OMI

Last Sunday, April 7th, the Delegation of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate (OMI) in Madagascar celebrated the ordination of two new deacons and four new priests.

The ordination ceremony took place at the Parish of Notre Dame de Lourdes in Toamasina on the Feast of Divine Mercy. Cardinal Mgr. Désiré TSARAHAZANA officiated and ordained the candidates. It was a joyous occasion filled with prayers, blessings, and gratitude for the divine calling of these men to serve the Church and the community.

The addition of these new deacons and priests is a significant milestone for the OMI Delegation in Madagascar, as they continue their mission of spreading the message of God’s love and mercy to the people of Madagascar especially the poor and the most abandoned.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations and prayers to the newly ordained deacons and priests as they embark on their journey of ministry and service in the footsteps of Jesus Christ. May God bless them abundantly in their vocation.
