SOUTH AFRICA – The Oblates of the Province of OMISA are devastated at the death of Fr. Jozef (Jef) HOLLANDERS. He seems to have been strangled to death in a robbery at the parish in Bodibe, on Sunday night, 12 January.
Kenya: Over the years, the Oblate Mission in Kenya has grown both in number and in resources. Starting in November 2019, we have added another parish in Nakuru Diocese in Kenya.
In collaboration with the Oblate missionaries, the Redemptoris Missio Humanitarian Aid Foundation decided to set up a clinic in Befasy, a small village less than one hundred kilometres from Mandabe.
We give thanks to God for the first son of the Guinean land to enter definitively into the Oblate family.
