“Let us pray for vocations with our saints” MAY 21 – 29, 2023
As every year, we pray for Oblate vocations in the novena from the feast of St. Eugene de Mazenod on May 21st to the feast of Blessed Joseph Gerard on May 29th.
The Central Government has now officially issued the Acts of the 37th General Chapter in digital form.
Individuals can register to participate online, via Zoom Webinar, or in person.
ANGOLA: The session on the protection of minors and vulnerable persons did not interest only the Oblates who work in Angola but also the laity.
After a long wait of two and a half years, after five cancelled sessions due to pandemic lockdown and its consequences, we have finally resumed the De Mazenod Experience!
For several years, the General Committee of Oblate Brothers has been responsible for the animation of the anniversary of the 1st vows. The Oblate Brothers who participated in the General Chapter, worked on the reflection for this November 1st.
The General Administration in Rome organized an online session for directors and animators of ongoing formation from all Oblate Units.
The path we walk as church, as Oblates and the Oblate family, is not neatly laid out for us. Instead, we have signposts along the way as we journey.
SENEGAL: A formation session on the protection of minors and vulnerable people and the promotion of the dignity of the priestly ministry
CONGO: Recently, the Province of Congo organized a session for formators on the protection of minors and vulnerable persons.
Formators should experience the Oblate Charism as alive, placing themselves in the spiritual encounter of St. Eugene de Mazenod.
