The Superior General in Council has appointed Brother Noel GARCIA as the new Secretary General. This is a historic moment, as he becomes the first Brother Oblate to hold this position in the history of our Congregation.

Brother Noel GARCIA is a highly skilled and recognized Brother Oblate, known for his dedication, service, and enthusiasm. Originally from the Philippines, he joined the Oblates in 1994 after his practice as a Medical doctor. With over 27 years of experience, he has served in various capacities within the Congregation, including education, mission work, formation, counseling, and caring for the sick and elderly.
In his new role as Secretary General, Brother Noel will undertake important administrative tasks, providing essential support for the entire Congregation. These tasks include overseeing communication, coordinating ministries, and supporting the mission of spreading the message of Saint Eugene de Mazenod. His role is crucial to the daily ins and outs of the Congregation on a global scale.
With this historic appointment, we reaffirm our commitment to unity, diversity, and inclusion within our Congregation. This milestone marks an exciting new chapter that reaffirms our identity as a religious community of Brothers and Priests, Pilgrims of Hope in Communion.
